01

IS TUNING SAFE FOR MY ENGINGE?

A. All tuning as long as its done correctly and within the parameters of manufactures tried and tested methods is ok, along with using a reputable company.

02

DO I NEED TO MODIFIY MY CAR TO GET IT TUNED?

When it comes to modifications it depends on which stage map you are looking for and what if any medications you have made.

STAGE 1 - requires no modifications as we are simply unlocking the true power of the vehicle which is locked away by manufactures to run in line with other country's standards.

STAGE 2 - Vehicle & fuel type dependant requires at minimum a sports exhaust ie with DCAT/DPF  removal and a decent AIR INDUCTION kit ,( can also have requirement for upgraded turbo & clutch).

STAGE3 - Usually for track/show vehicles will be all ABOVE, full induction kit with front mount intercooler, hybrid turbo and  forged engine components.

03

WILLL MY MPG INCREASE OR DECREASE?

The best thing about tuning a vehicle is when its done good and professional we aim to see around 15% gain in MPG from a full tank, however this is mostly on diesels with regards to petrol its around 9% range. It is also not a guarantee more of a bonus but defiantly no loss in MPG.

04

CAN I HAVE MY VEHICLE REVERTED BACK TO STOCK?

This is one of our most popular questions, the answer to this based on you coming to

NXT LEVEL TUNING is YES unlike a few other company's we keep a copy of your ORGININAL STOCK FILE for life. So in the event of insurance or selling the vehicle or simply you no longer want it we off this service for a small non hidden fee of £70 ( customer is required to come to our office of this procedure).

05

WILL POP/CRACKLE/BANG MAP DAMAGE MY ENGINE?

This is a widely disused subject throughout all car groups!!

Answer is NO it will not damage your engine, a lot of manufactures actually add this to popular SPORTS cars these days from factory as they are so popular.

The POPS/CRACKLE/BANG noise is actually created in the exhaust pipe from the unburnt fuel this is why its best to had a dcat sports exhaust fitted for better results and not damaging the catalyst converter  which is one of the places it ignites the fuel being the hottest part.

We simply retard the ignition timing a few degrees so the spark does not burn all the fuel and the remaining fuel exits via the exhaust valves leaving it to get heated up and ignite.

ADBLUE - DPF - EGR

Adblue countdown, dash lights & non start- We have a solution for the ecu so its no longer in use, the countdown will be permanently RESET and dash lights off, on some vehicles you still have the adblue menu.

DPF - You will need to have he DPF physically removed, We can then remove the software from the ecu leaving no dash lights showing. ( we do not do this ourselves we only offer a software solution for 'off-road use)

EGR -  EGR is a simple FIX we have a solution for then you can have the EGR blank by youR local mechanic, If your car fails to start due to a stuck closed egr then not to worry OUR FIX  will get you back up and running again in no time.

ARE THESE DELETES LEGAL?

Please note that we only offer  solutions for Off-Road Usage only. Although it is not illegal to remove the EGR OR DPF from your vehicle, it is an offence under the Road vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulation 61a(3))1 to use a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet. Removal of the EGR OR DPF FILTER will almost invariably contravene these requirements.

ADBLUE SOLUTION  is for off-road use only product, driving your vehicle on the road without an AdBlue  could result in prosecution.

The potential penalties for failing to comply with Regulation 61a are fines of up to £1,000 for a car or £2,500 for a light goods vehicle.
